Fall in Gastown

Did this quick fall lineup shoot on Friday in one of those little Gastown alleys. You’d think meeting at 3:00pm would give plenty of daylight for several hours of shooting and a few locations, but nope, clothes need to be steamed, looks need to be assembled, hair and makeup needs to be done, equipment needs checking and setting up, and we all need to pile into a van and find the first of the locations that I scouted ahead of time. When it was all ready to go, it was quickly getting dark, and only time enough for an hour or so of shooting.. Shot these in failing light at f/1.4 at 2000 ISO on the Mk II, with an orange gelled flash and silver/gold reflector. So much for the bright and natural sunlit hair envisioned by our creative director, maybe next time. Thanks to Issha for helping out, who had to fly to Toronto the next day, and thanks to me who had to go play a show at the Railway the same night. Busy busy..
